Therapy Approach

Rooted Change

Dig Deep.

Healing begins when you uncover the root of your challenges. We’ll process your past and explore your current reactions, habits, and feelings. By looking at the whole story, you can move forward with deeper self-awareness.

Get to the point.

Working in fast-paced clinical settings equipped me to uncover issues quickly — and put together plans that work. The goal isn’t to keep you in therapy indefinitely. It’s to give you the tools to thrive outside of it.

Be Real

To grow, you need a safe space to be yourself. It’s essential that you feel comfortable telling me what you need. I’m equally upfront, gently challenging you to recognize your strength and value, especially when you can’t see it.

Types of Therapy

Each person is unique. If we work together, we’ll discuss a plan tailored to you. Sessions could include a number of therapeutic approaches.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR helps reduce the emotional distress from traumatic memories by using guided eye movements.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps improve mental health by changing negative thoughts and behaviors into positive ones.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)

REBT focuses on resolving emotional and behavioral issues by challenging and changing beliefs.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS helps heal emotional wounds by recognizing and understanding different parts of one’s personality.

Attachment Theory

This theory helps in understanding how early relationships with caregivers shape emotional and relationship patterns in adulthood.

Psychodynamic Therapy

This therapy explores unconscious patterns and past experiences to understand and resolve current issues.

My Process

1.) Set Expectations.

Clarity is important. We’ll discuss what you can expect from me and our sessions. I’ll lay out guidelines that will set you up for the best possible therapy experience.

2.) Hear your story.

I’ll get to know you and learn about the challenges you’re facing. We’ll explore how your past influences you today and talk about how you want your life to look in the future.

3.) Explore.

Expressing your feelings is an important part of the process. But we don’t stay there. We dig deeper to get to the root of your issues and amplify things that are going well in your life.

4.) Heal and Grow.

Capitalizing on your strengths, we’ll equip you with confidence and skills to build your resilience, grow your inner peace, and empower you to show up in the world the way you want to.

Two-way communication

I value honesty from both sides. Feel free to speak your mind and tell me what you need. Your feedback is important to me.

Therapy can feel like a vulnerable place. I’m absolutely committed to holding space for you and respecting your privacy.

Grounded support

I’m committed to showing up consistently for you each week. I practice what I preach so I can be a reliable partner in your journey.
